So turns out, love has expiration date
I used to believe love is a forever thing.
When you love someone and that someone tells you the feeling is mutual. It's gonna be a forever story with a happy ending.
I have my own story and experience for years. Despite the ups and downs, it still makes me question a lotta things.
How can a couple who used to look at each other with such intense love, now look at each other dead in the eye?
I guess human nature is selfish enough to make a couple abandon each other and try to protect themselves first from whatever the fuck life threw at them. I guess it's human instinct and just the way our brain programs to survive life.
So now, the journey of me trying to find out if love truly has an expiration date, has its dark turned.
How can it be that fast?
When you love a person so much and then somehow you just wake up one day feeling like the same love no longer exists?
There's scientific research that says the human brain is the only thing that processes and is responsible for every feeling, the heart has nothing to do with it. So, love is probably the most nature's greatest high.
If you can fall in love. So technically you can fall out of love.
The complexity of human feelings bothered me when one day I asked my favorite human being, that same simple question and he came up with an interesting answer.
"Do you think love has an expiration date?"
"No, it's just changing form."
"To what?"
"Different things." He said.
He said the exact two words that were never enough for me to understand.
"If it's changing form, then technically it's not love anymore right?"
"You have to be stupid to think that it is not, because the first thing about love, is that it is formless. And it depends on the people. It is also different for different people." He was trying so hard to make me understand.
Well, he got me with "Different things."
Different things indeed.
Love is changing form into a stupid million things.
